장애 예술이라는 말을 들었을 때 동정이나 시혜적인 시선이 먼저 떠올랐다면, 그건 그들을 주체가 아닌 ‘구경거리’로 소비했기 때문입니다. 이 프로젝트는 시선의 권력을 내려놓는 것에서 출발했습니다. 17명의 장애 예술가들을 대상화하는 대신, 그들이 바라보는 세상을 나란히 서서 함께 목격한 기록입니다. 가식적인 감동은 덜어내고, 타인의 고유한 시선이 내 세계를 어떻게 확장하는지 담담하게 증명합니다.
